Zakir Yusoff, a forward thinking practical strategist that sparks ideas and excites changes. He brings with him more than 30 years of international experience in regional partnership, technopreneurship, market insight, social innovation and digital adoption.

Recently in partnership with Selangor State Govt, he was engaged in new social entrepreneur development program SARANG (www.sarang.my) targeting for rural area for one of the states in Malaysia. He also collaborated in Tourism events in promoting the branding and icon for Malaysia with the campaign I ♥ MY (www.ilovemy.org) that calling for Malaysians to come together, embrace the diversity while celebrate the unity of our country.

With LeadUS Centre team, he is set to work towards gaining the respect of the society through insightful thoughts and actionable initiatives for the noble cause of our nation building and competitive advantages.

Zakir earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Hartford and his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, USA. He is also the SEA Strategic Partnership Advisor for UNRWA.

Zakir is the business rainmaker that has more than 25 years of driving Asia growth and expansion for various international technology companies in USA, Singapore and Malaysia. He also previously worked with Petronas and telecommunication company.
